The Associate Engineer occupies a pivotal role within our Performance Engineering and Security Engineering teams, tasked with optimizing software applications and IT systems in client environments, and concurrently contributing substantially to the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures across a wide array of systems and applications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Develop proficiency in security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or Metasploit, andmaster at least two performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
2. Collaborate closely with senior engineers to conduct security assessments, penetration tests,vulnerability assessments, and design and execute performance tests.
3. Utilize monitoring tools for both security and performance metrics directly within client systems to identify vulnerabilities and analyze system performance.
4. Contribute to the creation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) for innovative security solutions and performance integration frameworks, displaying proactive and creative problem-solving.
5. Assist in developing and maintaining security testing scripts, automation frameworks, and performance testing scripts tailored to client environments, integrating insights from POCs.
6. Gain comprehensive knowledge of various security testing phases and performance testing phases, fostering specialization in both Security Engineering and Performance Engineering.
